The European Union Satellite Centre (EUSC) Training Unit and the IPSC
Non-proliferation and Nuclear Safeguards Unit of the Joint Research
Centre (JRC - EU Commission), have organized an advanced course on the
interpretation of nuclear installations using commercial satellite
imagery.
The course, originally designed for EUSC and JRC personnel, is now open
to officially nominated personnel from EU member nations interested in
the use of commercial satellite images to monitor the status of nuclear
facilities. It has been designed as a continuation of the basic course
on the nuclear fuel cycle (NFC), already offered as part of the EUSC
training programme.
